Leading,
leading, and controlling yourself
Knowing what you want, needing no help
It seems so obvious that you would know of its end
It seems so obvious you would perceive your end
It just does not seem to happen that way
You cannot know when you will lose your chance
If you knew your loss of control before it came
You could not be confident in your ignorance
Needing, needing, loosing control of yourself
Knowing what you had, humiliated asking for help
It seems so obvious that you would know of its end
It seems so obvious you would perceive your end
It absolutely does not happen that way
You cannot know if you will get it back
If you knew, after being helped, that you could go on
You might not feel the paranoia of attack
Helpful, and helpless you will see both sides
But, no matter what, you will never realize
You did not know, and you will not know again
The change in perspective is an external message sent
Life is tragic, it has no other path
In that sense, it seems so complete
Why posit anything other than this very time here and now
When it is obvious that we pay, and we play, here and now
