Repeating sins, do we repent?
If we do then lies we have sent
As an answer to the one God
If we don’t, then clear we are not

Either way is wrong, if we don’t quit
Repetition is a hole in the knit
Repairing the damage with hope
Praying, pleading, clean with soap

Cause I’m filthy, in need of a wash
Cleanse my evil, carve out my flaws
My deepest and most meaningful apologies
I’m still foul, but man enough to admit it
The first step to, dodging the pit
