Guilty’s how I feel
After reading the bible
I love Jesus Christ
But I feel liable
For every little sin
It makes life hell
I want to be free
I don’t wanna sell
My goodness away
But in my mind
He will always be
And I might find
A way to love
That’s less guilty
I sure hope so
Cause I feel filthy
I’m not a bad
Mean or evil person
I’m just human
Which is the worst and
I wanna be perfect
To dump this mess
I’ve found the path
It’s clogged with less
Evil people than me
They’ll all make it
But I want to see
Me and my friends
Heaven bound for sure
There should be ways
That you can lure
People to happiness
Or they can work
For their salvation
Or they can lurk
If they worked here
On earth diligently
Let them relax
And conquer willingly
But I don’t believe
People should be sent
To hell forever
With no thought lent
That’s why I’m here
